Run Time for new Build - Campground Cruiser III

3hrs is a long time. Do you really plan on riding it for 25-45miles? If you only need a total of 10-15miles the 12ah batteries would probably be close and the 22ah batteries shouldn't be an issue.

    Razors vehicles...potential "crotch rockets"?

First thing I do on mine is swap out the motor sprocket from 11T to 9T. Gives it a much needed increase in torque. I have a 1800w boma on my bench I still need to install as well. http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=40558

    Standard size electric motors?

Pick up an industrial motor for 100$ on ebay. 1hp Leeson or clarke will give you what you need. If not get an imperial 3.6hp forklift motor. http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=39038

Love this project! Thank you for the update. I just picked up a half melted ATC70 and have been considering doing electric. Any chance do you make any ATC plastic parts? I could use a number plate. :)

    Kart Conversion issues

The dingo axle sprocket looks much bigger then 60T. the 1800w motor will be fine but you need to gear it properly. Also sprockets are cheap..

    Kart Conversion issues

Buy the biggest axle sprocket you can fit on your cart. That little motor is going to need all the help it can get to move that beast.

    Kart Conversion issues

What kind of axle sprocket are you running? Can you post a pic? You might want to go to ebay or bmikarts and grab the biggest one you can fit. With your setup I would want at least a 90T or bigger. Or go with an industrial motor. Imperial 3.6HP motors are cheap and easy to come by on ebay.

Razor MX650 electric dirt bike build

Well the motor came. The good is it says 1800w on it and came with the mx throttle. I cant believe that it is smaller then a brushed 500w motor! Weighs a ton though. The bad. Came with an 800w controller and no foot pedal...
