Chain falling off despite all efforts..

I had a kart with bad axle bearings, got it aligned perfectly and tensioned but because of the bearings the axle moved and the chain would pop off.

    Rupp minibike find

Still plenty of work left but in the last week I've got her running. New throttle cable and wheel bearings. Had the rest. Started off with removing the old engine and chain. That engine will need a rebuild, have the parts but a project for another day. Following that was removing the stuck...

    Speed mower

Interesting choice. And hood. The pedal setup is a hydro, whole lot harder to go fast than just switching pullies. Not that I've done a hydrostatic mudmower/fast mower. That stacks a whole lot better than the one I rigged on mine before I blew that engine. Cut the shroud and flipped the stock pipe.

    Rupp minibike find

Another free find.... Learned about this one from my dad after work today, he talked to the neighbor and he had seen us going up and down the street on the mowers and had an old minibike if I wanted it. A few hours later I drove down and learned it's been sitting for the last 12 years in the...

    Comet 30 series CVT

Pics help too. But I'd look for bent clutch springs, possible missalignment and maybe belt sizing issues. The spacer could be because the TC was meant for a smaller belt size. I've had some like that before.

    Dingo's Offroad Mower Build

Finally got tires for the mower, don't have to share with the dingo anymore. The set of atv tires was 70 on marketplace, I'll sell the fronts for 50 or so since I wont be using them. These tires are 22x11-10 vs the previous 21x12-8. They are also offset so they pretty much line up with the...

    Dingo's Offroad Mower Build

Finally got the mower running, welded a new rear pulley, new trans, and a newish(free) Briggs Vtwin. Since getting it running we romped on em on some trails and ended up taking em to the HS for our last day. Rode around the parkinglot and even got a teacher to drive one. Trail ride, and blew...

Purchased a kart help me identify it

Gotta heat it up hot, like red hot, and cool it down fast ie. Water. It'll break the rust holding it tohether apart and should make it easiee to get off.

Purchased a kart help me identify it

It's a Yerf Dog, seems like a decent kart, personally, I never owned one but have a friend that did and he liked it. Aparently people had issues with frames cracking on those, not too sure on that one though. Good idea to check it over (especially rear). Nice find for 150 though. Rarely see...

    Kholer Command Vtwin ?'s

3 Commands. All have hydraulic lifters. That's really one of the first things I noticed about them when taking them apart. These engines were most likely on landscape equipment so probably a lot of hours and lot of abuse.

    Kholer Command Vtwin ?'s

Recently I've been able to gather eniugh parts between 3 blown Command 25 hp's that I'll be able to put a whole one togther. Juet curious what people's opinnions were on them. And aparently rods going is a common thing on these? Have the remains of 2 with blown rods and have a rod salvaged from...

    Hows my Welds?

I'm assuming this is gasless fluxcore. We were always taught CLAMS C - current - basically the amount of "heat" you're putting into the metal L - length of arc - how far between the surface and your electrode/contact tip in mig A - angle - wrong angle will result in defects like porocity...

    The Mule

Might have to go check that place out, close enough to warrent a drive out there sometime. Is a "spiced up" 11hp going to be enough for something that size? I'd imagine it'll be pretty heavy.
