nothing,it's a breather/overflow for the valve cover. can be used as a pulse for a fuel pump(diff carbs). some people put a little air filter on em,zip tie them or run them to a overflow can....your choise... 9

INCREASING SPRING PRESSURE(hole 3) = higher r.p.m.'s prior to shifting,,,nothing to do w/ratio........LOWER SPRING PRESSURE(HOLE 1) = FASTER SHIFT TO HIGH GEAR,,,NOTHING TO w/raio.....either setting 1,2,3 affects back shifting(down shifting kinda) more than anything.....

I have the same tach, a little slow but good! About,the same as a Tiny Tach but much cheaper.:thumbsup:

check you wheel bearings, if o.k., you may want to check for a bad crank,from reading your previous post,i see you like to rev it up, with out any load........not good.

Looks like factory welds. i can see,the 2 orignal motor mounts, the box on top is all back yard type add on to mount what ever was on there. You have a start! start to gather up parts, wheels,tie rods,spindles,brakes and motor/clutch,then go for it....WALT
