It's a shame I can't take it out of gear and set it to idle at a higher RPM for when I want to use a rear spotlight. even though that will be a situation i would very rarely be in.

I don't know what it has, but I know it did come with an incandescent headlight so its gotta be capable of putting out at least around 40 watts. So I figure I should be able to run bright LEDs no problem, hopefully.

Those pearson chain powered open diff axles. Possibly brand new, possibly pulled out of an old mower or something. I haven't taken measurements or anything yet. At this point I'm still just deciding if this is even something I want to pursue or not.

I own a boat and I can assure you even in open ocean, my go kart (no suspension) gets bounced around WAY more than my boat does. That said, maybe I'll go to the marine store and play around with the switches. They probably have a wall with both styles of switch mounted.
