The idle adjustment screw does not affect the jetting, only idle speed dependent on what the carbs thinking.
What you need to slightly embiggen is the low speed jet. It's located under the idle screw, remove
said screw and carefully pry out the plastic jet below it. Either procure an...
I hate to say it, but i think hes just damaging the seals on install. Ive never seen the crank wearing down where the the oil seal contacts without thousands of hours of runtime, that should be way beyond the lifespan of the engine.
Genuine honda # 91201-Z1C-003's are the way to go. I use knockoff china parts sometimes, but accept they may not work right or last. You
get what you pay for.
Those pictures don't help much at all, can we get a more direct picture of this driven clutch? It May be a 20 series.
Edit- it is a 20 series driven, that uses a symmetrical belt angled on both sides. . The 30 series driver on your engine is asymmetrical ,
that has an angled side outward, and...
Are you installing # 91201-Z1C-003 , dimensioned 35mm X 52mm X 8mm?
Also I gots to ask , how did you conclude that there is negative pressure in the crankcase ?
I mean there is not much to this, its not the right seal, or something else is wrong.
Its just got reflective strips in the red spots. I could stick some led strips on it.
The sign is really there incase the tail light fails more so than trying to make it road legal.
That or there is too much crankcase pressure and the freshly installed seal is the path of least resistance.
Once thought a snow blower had a bad seal, turned out the breather tube got pinched behind the airbox.
Test drive complete. mission success
the 9 to 1 gear ratio is perfect, has plenty of torque to go sideways and
push through snow, and uses all 9hp to get a bit over 30.
Not fast but still fun, an wayyy better than when it had the gy6!
Got the motor plate done. With 3/8 bolts, there is enough play between the holes in the motor,
and the mount plate to allow a full 1in adjustment with no gaps.
Might reuse this heavy duty 30 series backplate I made for the jackshaft.
