Started working on the exhaust, not stainless, not tig welded. I ain't that fancy yet

Installed some valve spring shims yesterday as part of a rev kit, which includes replacing the exhaust side aluminum pushrod with a cromoly pushrod. Not much else going on, I have too may irons in the fire at the moment.

Also today, removed the oil filter housing and replaced it with a unit off a 23hp motor. The 18/20 hp motors came with oil filter only. The 23hp came with an oil cooler.

For sure! Both intake flanges are made. Buying Allen bolts tomorrow. Not gonna weld a tube on the flanges yet untill I get my carbs and can double check everything

So, power was enough, but more would be better. I pulled the briggs 570cc twin off the shelf. Plan is a rev kit, dual 24mm pwk carbs and exhaust. Today I made 2 intake flanges. Will post pics next time im working on it

Took the buggy out on the trails last week. We rode 4 different days for a total of 117 miles. Zero breakdowns for my machine (5 karts went out each time). While my kart performed well, including some nice hill climbs, there's room for improvement.

Some, around the property. Close by there was a super steep hill/burn messed around on some. Most of the driving was tuning the carb.

Thank you! Yup new orv tag soon. Will be going on another week long ride in a few weeks. Same one as last year in this thread. Only this year hope to not break down

Currently we're at 27.5 pilot, clip 2nd leanest position, 200 main Q0 needle jet. (1 size leaner than stock. )

Been busy, anyway, the rack is used was from an ezgo golfcart. Bought new off ebay. On version 2.0 of my build I removed the balljoint ends, made some U shaped ends and used heim joints. I will try to get pics tomorrow if I remember

Main jet is pretty close accordingto the butt dyno, gonna go down 1 more jet size and see how it looks.

Needle in center position seems to be the best, (didn't get a pic of the plug on that one)

Got my new needle jet in the mail yesterday and started tuning again. Got the idle jet dialed in. Using a 27.5

Threw some paint on real quick to keep things from rusting too bad untill I can give it a proper paint job
