Hi @TheDADgineer , Did you get your angles sorted out ? For a full circle (even a triangular D shaped one) the angles will add up to 360 degrees. You are showing two 90's and a 92... (ignore the 100 degree one that is over-ruled by the 90).... so that's 272 degrees. 360-272=88 degrees left...

I used to ride a cart with the (belt is the clutch) tilt the engine system. AFAIK, that was a production kart from a store like Western Auto.

Should sound like sizzling bacon when you are laying down the weld, If you can hear spitting and sputtering from the puddle theres a problem.... you may also notice the wire feed motor having ing a constant sound (good) or changing in pitch during the weld (bad). I had lots of wire feed issues...

Update - the band saw stock did not last long as a sawzall blade. It fractured once it got pinched in the rebar that I was trying to cut. It might work cutting thinner metal as long as it don't get pinched.

Exactly. My short term plan is to use this bender to make pieces for my hydraulic bender. I will have to rework that one to handle 1.5" tubing for buggy project. None of my tools can make perfectly smooth bends in any size tubing today

Break and fix <again>. I kind of knew I would regret this test - trying to bend a piece of 24mm x 3mm pipe. You can see a slight bend was all I got too. I had to crank up the torque past 150 ft.lb. and stood firmly when pulling on the ratchet with a cheater pipe... then something else popped...
