    New fella from NC

Don't live to far from his old shop. He does some crazy builds. Mean engines. Mean mean engines. I used to see all kinds of bikes around his shop. Now that they moved to the north end of town I don't see as much. Take care.

Yeah I'm sure they both are. One was cracked and the other was bent. I'll be working on that. It's funny because my buddy and I both looked at it and thought man this thing has some sort of funky steering going on. I'll fix it.

Another question for the masses. Is there a difference between a #40 or #41 chain? We do have one of these and not the #35. I'm working on getting my parts list together so we can get our stuff ordered up. My goal is to have this bad boy running by the end of October. Which is my stepsons...

easy fix Sure thing! Today we took the kart out to a good friends house to have him weld up a crack in a weld at the spindle mount. Easy enough fix. Also bent it back to where it used to be. Also fixed the tierod mount on the other side. Much better. Have to set the toe now.

The frame We've been working pretty feverishly getting to the bare frame. Took us a week or so to get here. We've had to fight rust and all the glory of a toy riddin hard and put away wet. But I love it. I will try to get more photos uploaded so for now and while the internet is working...

I am working on that part. I need to measure the chain but I feel it might be a 40/41, but until I figure out what I got I can't assume anything. Okay I've got another newb question. I am looking for my bearings and I do have part #s on the front bearings which I feel I can get easly. But...

Another newbie guestion. I have a 60 tooth sprocket and I am running a 13x5.00-6 tire what would you recommend for my spocket on my engine/clutch? I don't have the old one...so any help thoughts would be great. I'm worried that this is a big sprocket on a small tired go kart. Although it is...

    Bench seat I put together...

I've heard Ammo cans are getting hard to find. I've also heard prices are more than they used to be. I talked to one fella of a Army Navy store a few months back and he said that it's hard to get stuff because he has to bid against bigger companies our west. I don't know but it is what he was...

I went to our local Northern Tool last week and they don't carry any parts in the store. I couldn't believe it. I looked high and low and asked. I checked Harbor Freight last Wensday and they didn't have anything. I will be checking our little ACE hardware or True Value. There's really...

Okay I did a search and obviously I'm not right on my lingo. So I will ask here. I need to know what chain I need #35, #40/41. So how do I measure the sprocket on the axle to tell me. I know 3/8 is a 35 but I measured something different but I am wondering if I measured it right. Any help...

I was hoping to get most of my parts locally but I'm okay with ordering online. Or mail order. Luckly most of these parts are available. I will more than likely either sand or sandblast the axle. It needs a little love. It is although in pretty decent shape, not great but workable. Thanks.
