Most people complain that these fun karts are way too slow and/or the usual complaint is ”kart no go”. 😏 Part of the problem could be a cable issue. Ensure the throttle cable on the kart is smooth, non binding and has no sharp turns or kinks in it. Also make sure the pedal returns or snaps...

You can also flip the caliper over inside its C bracket on the frame. That would do nearly the same thing as converting it. Kind of difficult to envision it on your kart, me not being there and whether the brake rod interferes with the frame flipped one way and not the other… Make sure you...

I think some of the calipers are modular, meaning you can choose which side to put the actuating lever on. Got a pic of yours? This chart however, shows clockwise and counter-clockwise pull but not both...

So it's a printed panel? How thick is it? That's some fine attention to detail. Seems many fun kart owners and refurbishers discard details such as this and sort of deconstruct everything especially if it is slightly damaged or faded.

Wish I could sew vinyl, because the Ken-Bar seat cushions are simpler than most, even with the white stripe. They are a slip-on cushion design and there's an extra layer of vinyl on the upper part, a sleeve, that slips over the top of the metal seat back. Seems easy peasy but another rabbit hole...

The guy actually sat on it as-is, with stock motor and rode it around his shop. He's about 6 feet tall, plus a few inches maybe. If the two-smoke adds some decent power, it could be fun no matter how uncomfortable.
