Hello everyone - I just picked up a 2021 Dongfong kart for my grandson, a very stoked little boy to be sure. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this site as I am sure I'll have many questions for y'all over the summer.

How old is the lucky grandson? In your position it is easier to spoil grandchildren because the Dads are sometimes more "responsible" and who can deny a grandparent?

Helmet, “motocross suit”, “motocross armor” and a genuine 5 point harness to utilize the slots in the seatbacks are things I would seriously consider. Things are going to get rowdy.

I’d get a kart for yourself, Grampa. What better way to teach than being out there with him and to keep a closer eye-on. You can form a small “kartel” with 2 or more karts.
