If all else fails couldn't you put a bearing between the bolt and what your connecting it to? This should stop any excess movement from undoing the bolt, but it sounds to me that something is catching it or its not lubricated properly,

Sorry to butt in but couldn't you narrow it down? Use fresh fuel, clean filter, clean carb, new plug, and if that fails , put half a teaspoon of oil in the sparkplug hole (incase it's a compression issue) then try and start it, if it won't start after all this then it's got to be a timing/ coil...
