Tire sizes for an 8" rim?

I may convert my kart from 6" rims to 8" ones when I do the live axle. It seems to be cheaper to go that way. I can buy 8" tires locally, I cannot get 6" ones without ordering them in. I would only have to buy hubs for the live axle. I can probably get two rims for free. What tire sizes are...

    My yard kart build

I bought this kart for $40. It had a 3hp Tecumseh on it, and a broken clutch. It would not idle, because the clutch would always engage. I am not sure what it is, as there is no serial numbers or manufacturers name on it, that I could find. Its one wheel drive, one wheel brake. It has 6" rims...
