yeah im going to try and get it to a tire shop see what happens might just get two new front tires i rode it around with the flat tires today after i finished putting the driven unit and new chain on there now i only have the tires i have to fix and the plastic piece that goes on the car hooked...

yeah my friend tried with the ratchet strap but still nothing the tire isnt off the bead but it wont seal ill try the starting fluid method see if that works

i flipped it around today still have to finish it up though should have it done tomorrow only problem left is the two front tires wont fill up and we've tried just about everything and the air escapes through the edges of the rim probably going to take it to walmart and see if they can get air...

I was able to finally try out my new kart and noticed that if i gave it throttle and held onto it the driven unit would open up and the kart wouldnt move because the belt would get loose its a 40 series

does anyone know what size the bolt that screws onto the crankshaft is on a gx340 honda?

Today while i was placing my order on gokarts supply i called and asked if they had the belt i needed in stock and they told me that goodyear is going to be making tav belts they just took one of each size the other day to make more of em

progress after all this rain i was able to have the motor mount welded up all i have to do is drill out two holes that go over the old mount has some supports underneath the mount this thing is solid as a rock ordering the belt tomorrow hopefully so i should have it going soon

ill have to try that hopefully this darn rain will pass over so i can weld the motor mount and get that engine on there

tav belt ok so i measured the center distance and the driven unit. the driven unit is 7 1/2 inches and the center distance is 9 inches so does that mean i could use the 9 3/8 or 9 3/4 belt ?

change of plans that frame is gonna be for parts now i got this one instead i got alot of extra's the engines recoil was fixed but wasnt preloaded properly so i have to fix it and one little weld break but i have everything to get it going even came with the motor mount where the engine came...

bought it i think i got a pretty darn good deal came with a brand new 40 series tav just need to get the right sized belt the engine looks good just gotta put the tank on and hook up the carb and stuff came with the roll bars an extra set of sweet looking tires and a super comfortable seat lol...

im goin to pick it up hoepfully today being that thats around as much as i was going to spend just getting my frame to a rolling chassis so with this ill have everything i need and just have to weld and make a motor mount for that 11 hp honda :D

yeah subframe connectors are always a must have its incredible how the convertible f-body's can actually hold up even with just a stock engine

I prefer hardtops not really into the whole t-top thing also camaro's and firebird's equipped with t-tops the body likes to flex when you put a strong engine in it can be fixed with sub frame connectors but hardtops are alot better if your going to be building an engine up im planning on...

yeah thats probably what im going to do i found a way to mount it.
