Is there a way to reduce the sound of a straight pipe from a HF 6.5 hp engine while keeping the hi flow?

I had a go kart for a long time and recently it just came to my mind to i should make my HF 6.5hp engine a little stronger. I'm planning on putting a custom exhaust and a K&N filter on it. Can anybody send me links or tell me stores where I can go to buy these parts.

I recently got this go kart, and i usually go fast on it. Once in a awhile i would try to stay on the top rpm (about 3600 rpm) for a sec or two. I was just wondering, is it fine to stay on the 3600 range for a longer time even tho I still have the governer. -Josh
