Bill could I ask how you determined the position of the steering rack? I assume you set it back so that it's parallell to a line joining the centre of the spindles.

I saw the pics Grizz, it dosen't look good. I left those stubby arms off the seat back because I wasn't sure how it was all going to line up, I was going to sort it out once the rear sub frame was mocked up. It had occured to me that those little arms are going to take a fair bit of force and...

Theo, only what you can see in my pics. The frame is very strong, I don't think it needs any more bracing. The rear sub frame, in my opinion, does need additional bracing for an engine over 10hp.

Grizz - The transmission set up will be sprocket on the reduction gearbox linked via chain onto another sprocket on the solid rear axle. I haven't considered a method of mounting the engine yet, but from what I understand I need some method of tensioning the chain by adjusting the engine mount...

Mikko - The parts I stretched were the MF115-1507 and the MF16-90 by 5". If your 6'4" then you need to stretch by at least 7" over stock maybe more. It's pretty tight were your feet sit and if you have big feet then it might even be worth widening the front too. Might be a good idea to cut some...

Made some nice progress today, the main chassis is now welded up and pretty much complete. The seat fits nicely in the frame but I'm still undecided wether to raise it up slightly and tilt it back. Nice drawing. I always thought the top brace for the shocks looks a little weak, I think a solid top piece would be better.
