i have a different type of project started but need help or info on gearing ratio what is the formula or link to help me find gearing ratios

i have a bms two seater off road kart for sale it has new 6.5 hp hf motor that is three months old great tires new chain comet converter run like a champ just dont have room for it and need to sell asap 250.00 for it needs nothing just have to get rid of i am in southern indiana louisville ky...

thanks my kart with me in it is around 300 pounds but right now it has a mechanical brake set up and doesn't work very well and want to up grade just need to keep cost down and for that price it is hard to pass up

stock hf 6.5 hp

my tires are 18 inches tall and 11 inches wide on 8 inch rims

the tc is not in very good shape it is very week and needs alot of work to bring it back in shape it works but not very welll any answers to my first ???

on my kart i have a comet 20 series set up with jackshaft but was thinking about going to a centrifugal clutch and chain on jackshaft deal but i have 11 tooth on jackshaft and 60 tooth sproket it uses a #40 chain what kind size tooth to get for other side of jackshaft to go with centrifugal...

i have the above motor and the carb is shot will a carb from another 6 or 6.5 hp motor work on it

i have a 10 tooth clutch and a 72 tooth sprocket but how can i find out what type of chain to get like #35 or #41 ect.

can some one tell me the bolt pattern on these wheels http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=41475 looking to use the tire and rim with keyed hubs for cart any info would be great

i got looking at the motor that i have and it has a clutch built in it and i made some adjustments to it and it runs great so i just got to make a adapter shaft for a sproket will post some pics of the motor in a while

any ony else or at least give me some ideas for mounting a clutch on the weedeater shaft please need info asap

if u have one set up and running please post pics or links to them need ideas for the kids kart project up grade
