bks kangaroo gearing ???

on my kart i have a comet 20 series set up with jackshaft but was thinking about going to a centrifugal clutch and chain on jackshaft deal but i have 11 tooth on jackshaft and 60 tooth sproket it uses a #40 chain what kind size tooth to get for other side of jackshaft to go with centrifugal clutch to get more top speed

the tc is not in very good shape it is very week and needs alot of work to bring it back in shape it works but not very welll any answers to my first ???

sounds a bit low to me if you got a tc, top speed of 28mph with tc!?

28 mph is slow about like cruising around slow when your running around on the roads

Your go kart needs to be able to hit at least 80 mph at half throtttle, then when you floor,it needs to be able to scoot sideways in the middle off the road.

I know it is not nearly possible, but it would be nice.
