    Uhhh...

OMG... WTF is that? :roflol: I hope he never took that for a test ride. One of my favorite websites (besides this one now) is Instructables.com and there a few wooden karts on there. I'll see if I can dig some up. $190...is he serious? If by some far stretch I would ever think of buying...

Forgive my ignorance for I am a newb!

I was thinking today while driving home from getting my kart tires. If one could procure...say a 500 or 600cc motorcycle engine complete; how hard would it be to mount that sucker up to the back of the kart and include a shifter to crank through the gears? I don't think my kart weighs much more...

I don't think the springs were on correct when I got it because the butterfly valve is always open...hence the gas pouring...

Solomon, Thanks for the tip, now I know!! I was thinking about it to but decided against it to avoid any gassy fingerprints on my iphone...LoL If anyone has a pic of the Tecumseh 5hp motor rear (where all the springs are) could you please post it? It would help immensely!! I guess what I...

    Small Problem...

Everything seemed normal, but I am no expert. I guess the bigger problem is the placement of the spring(s). Like I said, the one looks like a bent paperclip, so I removed it. Now I am not so sure I have any of the springs on right. The spring(s) in question go to the arm that opens/closes the...

    Small Problem...

I just purchased a Yerf-Dog 1203a from Ebay. The motor is a Tecumseh Power Sports 5HP I ran it for the first time last week and gas was pouring from the air cleaner. Knowing a little about engines in general, I cleaned up the carb today. The carb seemed fine, everything moved freely and was not...
