Problem solved

Actually found a guy that is like 2 miles away and he is a wiz at this stuff. Had the springs on and working in about 5 minutes and I bought a carb rebuild kit while I was there. So I know what I am doing tomorrow!

All set...throttle works, carb will be good to go tomorrow and I am lucky enough to have a Tractor Supply store within 15-20 minutes , so I bought some new rubber to run on and put those on today.

Thanks again for all the input!! Now to peruse the threads for some good mods.

quick update...

carb rebuild kit did the trick...no more leaks or anything. Running like a champ now!!
