    Clank/smack when engine starts

Yes. This sounds like it might be the case and also the area from which the CLANK is coming from. I'll check the document and do some troubleshooting. Thank you very much!

    Clank/smack when engine starts

I have old Yerf Dog - 150cc GY6 engine. Been having troubles all summer long but slowly working them out. Here's the latest: When starting/turning over there is a good sounding CLUNK or CLANK that sounds about every other start. When it CLANKS, it sounds like it dies and the engine doesn't...

    Missing Part-Melting the Seat!

The fitting just fell out. It wasn't barbed. It wasn't threaded. Don't know if it what the original factory part or not. . . .Just wondering why it wasn't secured better. Made me think previous owner just jury-rigged something there. The valve cover is not broken. Kid's been riding it every...

    Missing Part-Melting the Seat!

How's this? It spits out oil and I believe it's supposed to. There was a right-angle fitting on there attached to a rubber hose, sort of like a bleeder tube. That's the best way I can describe it.

    Missing Part-Melting the Seat!

Engine is Howhitt 15cc on YerfDog buggy. What is this part called that's missing off the engine cover? Whatever it is, the "exhaust" from the engine is melting the back of our seat! Where do I get another one and/or is there a DIY remedy in case I can't find a part?

    Yerf Dog Brake Pads reversed

Update I installed the pads without the yoke and they're performing great after 6-8 hours of riding. In fact, I believe the yoke interferes and may not supposed to be there. With the old pads, the yoke was positioned around the threaded stud on the caliper bracket--see the pics above. The...

GY6 Running Good then Not So Good

True that, bob58o! That's funny . . . But my issue is now with this engine that's running roughly.. . .

GY6 Running Good then Not So Good

Wondering if that's a trick question. . . yes, I believe it is. . . but I'll bite anyway. Yes. Ran out of gas but filled back up again.

GY6 Running Good then Not So Good

I've got the ubiquitous GY6 150cc engine on my Yerf Dog I recently purchased and we just ran the thing hard for the first time this past weekend. The engine ran great and even "quiet" for the first 1-2 hours then after that it would no longer idle without dying. When we did get it started, it...

    Steering linkage ripped out

Thanks anickode. May have to do that but it sounds pretty iffy. Any idea what those yellow-colored "liners" are inside the socket?

    Yerf Dog Brake Pads reversed

Thanks, itsid, but those are the ones I've already located and they ship from China. I've done that before and it's taken up to a month. Trying to ride next weekend. I can see, in theory what that yoke does; however there is no nut to secure that yoke to the threaded stud--it just sits there...

    Yerf Dog Brake Pads reversed

1st pick shows both pads and how they're oriented to each other. 2nd pic shows pad in question as it slots in to the caliper.

    Yerf Dog Brake Pads reversed

I need new brake pads for my 4000 series Yerf Dog. Big problem is that all available pads have that yoke on the left hand side of the pad, not on the right. I can only find a pad like the one I need off ebay and it comes from China so it could take 2-3 weeks. Main question: I can get the...

    Steering linkage ripped out

Crashed. This steering linkage ball pulled out of the joint (correct part name?) Any way to get this back in or will I have to get a whole new rack and pinion set?
