Yerf Dog Brake Pads reversed

I need new brake pads for my 4000 series Yerf Dog.

Big problem is that all available pads have that yoke on the left hand side of the pad, not on the right.

I can only find a pad like the one I need off ebay and it comes from China so it could take 2-3 weeks.

Main question: I can get the exact pad but without that yoke. Will that work?

2nd pic shows pad in question as it slots in to the caliper.

there's a left set and a right set as far as I can see..
the assymmetric pad is either LT-812 (the one depicted above)
or it's mirrored counterpart the LT-834.
(without yoke it'd be LT-888)

should be stamped on the back..

Thanks, itsid, but those are the ones I've already located and they ship from China. I've done that before and it's taken up to a month. Trying to ride next weekend.

I can see, in theory what that yoke does; however there is no nut to secure that yoke to the threaded stud--it just sits there. It really doesn't make sense.

The two pins that secure each pad seem to do the work anyway. I'm going to have to try the pads without the yoke unless anyone has serious objections why I shouldn't...

Update

I installed the pads without the yoke and they're performing great after 6-8 hours of riding.

In fact, I believe the yoke interferes and may not supposed to be there. With the old pads, the yoke was positioned around the threaded stud on the caliper bracket--see the pics above.

The caliper bracket sort of "floated" and the pads wore unevenly.

Now, with the yoke out of the way, I secured the caliper bracket with a nut and everything is strong like bull--much better.
