well i had them on my Murray GT for about 5 yrs! and they are still holding up fine, they are turf saver II! I wanted to go with something with very little tread, easier around corners with a live axle! I had no problem going through 3-4" of snow! turning...that i had a problem with! problem was...

(1)the pulley on the axle sprocket was plan A, I thought i could go all belt! but i found a 10t sprocket that fit so i went with that, better choice in my opinion! It needs to come off! (2)the turnbuckle is a brace for the jack shaft there's two of them, and plus it helps adjust so the chain run...

I was waiting for someone to tell me what i did wrong, being this is my first build w/o plans, and with very very little advice! Don't hold back!! lets hear it

It's been forever since i've been on here,(don't mind the dates on the pics thier wrong, the pics were taken today 3-3-10) but this is it so for, waiting for the weather to get warmer so i can paint. taken me 6 months to get to this point! I'm using a hand style clutch with a belt tensioner...

I have a Briggs 18hp twin and have that same problem with it starting, with a full charge, it does'nt want to turn over without messing with the switch, then it takes off with no problem! I thought the starter was weak and was the problem, 120 bucks later... samething!

bending it back would cause stress to the frame, My brother has a one wheel drive i think it's a manco, anyways he snaped his axle off the frame, because he bent the axle before and had someone fix it , he brought it to me in two pcs. asking if i could weld it back on. after looking at the frame...

Do you know how long the engine was sitting? Alot of times when an engine is stored and some people don't know any better, they don't drain the fuel tank or the bowl, or change the oil, ( a proper way to store an engine) and over time when the fuel sits in the bowl, it's causes a corrosion layer...

ouch!! nipped the tips that had to throb. My bro cut off the tip of one of his fingers on a bandsaw, and when he looked down and seen it, he was out like a light, laid out on the floor!

it's the rim size that makes it shorter , smaller rim= smaller overall O.D. of tire, In this case, with the tire size being 4.10x3.50, what changes width is 4.10x(3.5) this in inches

I got the same axle! The 1/4" keyway is full length, I got a one piece sprocket 60t #41 that has no hub it just slides right on, w/ two set screws and a 1/4" keyway!
