Update
Got the frame all finished up and put some paint on it.. painted the wheels and the board too. i like it
the last picture shows the larger wheels that will be put in the rear
of course it would work but i dont recomend you do it that way as its more complicated than it needs to be. only thing is that **** would have to be very greased all the time.. that metal would rust and wouldnt be so smooth after some time of non use. also you would have to turn the steering...
here are some old pics so you can see my progress. first pic is original skateboard out of the factory.. then the pics with my sweet new engine..
now that i am putting the two wheel drive and huge-o tires on it i built that new frame..
More PICS
thats exactly what happens.. its especially bad since its one wheel drive. I think putting a live locked axle will make it much more stable, plus it would get much better traction off-road.
here are some pictures from about a week ago.. ill put up more pictures once i put the new...
I got it all running and it is crazy fast! I haven't even tried putting it more that 1/3 throttle and its very powerful.. Ive just tried it out on the street and haven't really been able to get it up to speed.. I'm gunna take it out to a good field tomorrow so i can really open the throttle up...
I was just looking at a different gas powered skateboard manufacturer and they have two wheel drive in the rear.. they do this by using a 'semi-differential'
heres a link
now i have no idea what the hell that means or if its possible to buy one.. anyone know about this semi-differential??
