KartFab,
Can you elaborate on what you mean by Trophy Club Parkway? I am just a couple miles from Trophy Club Park (used to be called Marshall Creek) but they do not allow go karts or side by sides out there. Dirt bikes and atvs only and you must have a current OHV sticker.
Are you doing this on the cheap cheap?
Just get a RTC9 head and mill it down to what you want.
I don't know if this site has any in stock but they are listed cheap on this site...
It looks a lot like my Dingo SE but I don't have that horizontal seat support on the lower back of the seat.
Maybe a 285 or 286, they are both little dingos.
I have been wanting to do the same exact thing as I have a couple briggs fun power 5s laying around. I would however mash both pedals to accelerate and then slide my foot off the low speed pedal to the high speed pedal.
And to address the clutch disengagement "issue", both of my yard kart...
Welcome. Yay, another DFW area member.
I have a couple Carter Brothers yard karts and they do right around 30mph with the stock non hemi Predators. That mph is easily achievable with a predator, light kart and a 12 inch tire. I am running a 10 tooth clutch and a 54 tooth sprocket. They both rip...
I don't know about one ride but I wore through one of those Walmart Greenball 4.10-3.50-5 tires in about 2 hrs of ride time on one of the yard karts. I guess I shouldn't expect much from an $8.94 tire though. Predators rip them up.
Here is the bent up $150 Dingo (I got it running today and it runs awesome), the yard kart with the through the tube live axle and my space saver stand made out of scrap 2x4s. We put the stand in the bed of the truck and can haul both carts plus all our camping/weekend gear.
Well I guess one can hope. I think the main problem is the guy replaced the fuel line with some large automotive rubber fuel line. He kept the same routing and I believe the line is pinched closed between the block and fan shroud. I can't get the line to pull in either direction. I think I am...
No pics but I did mount the 2nd Predator on the other yard cart. I also picked up a Dingo for $150 bucks. It fires up with starter fluid but will need a couple things like a deep carb cleaning, fuel line and a vacuum/vent hose. It has one of those POS 6hp Tecumseh engines.
Took the karts to Texoma over the holiday weekend. The wife and I had more fun than you can shake a stick at. The low seat one with the briggs gave us a little trouble so I picked up a second Predator. I also realized it has a through the tube live axle. If I can figure out how to lock the other...
