Measured the tires last night, tire diameter is 8". There is no room to add a jack shaft, so another option would be to switch to a #35 chain (instead of #40 chain I'm using now) and put a 60 tooth sprocket and get a new clutch (12 tooth). My tire size is around 6 inch diameter. I don't have much clearance to put a big sprocket on axle. I think trying to fit a jack shaft will be my best option.

To get it up to 6:1? If I put a TC on and still kept the 12 tooth on rear tooth would it take off quicker? Or will the TC still need a lower gear ratio?

Its $450 for the kit. Which isn't to bad if you think about all the stuff it comes with. Performance wise its probably a little more than what I need for the project I'm working on, but it seems to be a good overall set.
