Yep, 80,000. We could build that in a few months. 2 shifts averaging 500 per shift, 1000 a day. That is a combo of Grand Cherokees and Durango's. They current gen Durango was supposed to go away in 2014, most likely for good, but sales increased in 2015 and has been ramped up ever since. My plant secured the contract for the all new Durango that we will start building in 2027. Supposed to bring back a 3rd shift next year. 1500 new jobs.

No, it's something to do with those new led style strip lights. I just notice certain areas of the strip looks burned out or not working or dim.
Sometimes I notice part of the rear strip isn't lit up as much or something like that. Just when I see one will driving behind one in the dark. Just one of those things. Most probably don't notice it. Like when you buy a new vehicle, and then you notice every single one of them on the road when you didn't before. Lol.

Yeah I have noticed that. No idea if it's just a bad design or what. Usually we see them with water in them.
The WL Grand Cherokee had the recall for the tail lights because they were less than I think 200 LUX. That recall was a bit annoying to do.

65 gto we have been working on.
Customer said it was gutless.
Test drive found it didnt shift down to 1. Stayed in second. Manually put in 1 it would take off normally. Imagine that.
Tans is a 200r4. When it did shift it would snap your neck. Tried to adjust TV cable, nothing. Removed TV from carb. Still hard shifts.
Put a pressure gauge. 160psi at idle. Should be 60 or so.
Some one put a shift kit we assume.
Checked TV cable at the trans. Cable wasnt attached to the actuator.
Yup. Amateur hour.
Cheked pressures while manually moving TV actuator. No change. Still 160psi.
The TV valve in a 700 is known to stick. The 200 is just a baby version.
Time to break out the books. Haven't been in a 200r4 in a really long time. Maybe once.
These books are worth gold now days.
But the info on this page says theres a spring behind the valve.
But this one shows no spring. Hmm.
We'll never know what kit was put in it so its a guessing game. Gonna have to tear in to it and see what happened. Might have to find a stock valve body and start over from there.

To add some backstory for you guys.
This guy paid big bux for this car. Had it shipped from Ohio or something.
He brought it to us for a carb and intake swap. It had a high rise edelbrock intake and a crap edelbrock carb. He brought an oem pontiac intake and a holley street demon. We like those, they closely resemble a thermoquad.
Got those on and he decides to regear the rear end. Ok. He brings us gears. Pull out his carrier and find a broke spring in the posi. No biggie found one in the box o springs.
Then find out the ratio change split the carrier size. Ordered up a new carrier and after a few weeks of waiting got it back together.
As we keep looking at this car we find more stuff wrong.
Like the 4 wheel disc conversion. The tabs on the rear axle where hard line meets hose. The tabs were colliding with the shocks. Had to move them. Cut grind weld paint.... you know
The hood has washers for spacers, but it still doesn't align well.
Heater hose on the back of the head leaked. Its a special plug.
Power steering pump fitting leaked.
Stuff like this all over.
Why do these guys build such these classic cars with such shoddy work.
Beautiful paint and interior but crap under.
We run i to this with every one we've had.

How many miles since the trans was rebuilt? If it’s been a couple thousand I would not be concerned about that little amount of trash in there. If less panic.

Its a fresh frame off resto. Every nut and bolt is still brand new shiney.
But yet we find things like the trans pan bolts where 3 are mismatched. Says metric stamped into the pan but there's 3 American bolts.
Im guessing less than 100 miles since rebuild. Not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere to suggest any amount of road time.
