What is the thickness ( gauge) of the tabs? .125?

That is as fine of craftamanship as l've seen in a while.

Thank you, and you would be correct. Tabs are .125.

On the first generation of this machine I did most all tabs in 3/16 and it was overkill. When looking at how my rmax1000 is built and what I put that through, .125 is PLENTY if done correctly.

Also got the driver side trailing arm tacked up today. Now I will start to gusset with tube and plate the hub area

Agreed, but overkill is good thing. It aint done til its overdone!
l have a metric shyt ton of 3/16 tabs, so....
I like the control arm design!

Thank you, I normally overbuild things. On this build I'm trying to keep weight in check as I have a weight and performance goal. Even so it'll still be overbought. I took ideas for the trailing arms from several designs I saw online.

Yes, lots of people use full length miata axles but I think its way too wide. If I used them full length id be 64" wide. For reference my rmax1000 is 65" wide and it'll go anywhere and has a way higher cg than this kart.

What are the wheel hub/flanges you are using? They look a lot nicer than the contraption I use.
But that would go against my MO...

The hubs are from a 2006 or 08 (can't remember) mini cooper. They have the same spline as the miata axles

Yup that's where I got the idea, bought his spool kit and used the axles and hubs he recommends

What size tire & wheel ya planning on?

Well, the rim size and offset that work best for me a factory rzr wheels. 12" dia. I grabbed a set of wheels and 27" tires for 100$. So for now that's what ill be running.
