On the first generation of this machine I did most all tabs in 3/16 and it was overkill. When looking at how my rmax1000 is built and what I put that through, .125 is PLENTY if done correctly.
Thank you, I normally overbuild things. On this build I'm trying to keep weight in check as I have a weight and performance goal. Even so it'll still be overbought. I took ideas for the trailing arms from several designs I saw online.
Yes, lots of people use full length miata axles but I think its way too wide. If I used them full length id be 64" wide. For reference my rmax1000 is 65" wide and it'll go anywhere and has a way higher cg than this kart.
Well, the rim size and offset that work best for me a factory rzr wheels. 12" dia. I grabbed a set of wheels and 27" tires for 100$. So for now that's what ill be running.
