:roflol: Knowing your luck, when you get ready to leave you're going to find the way blocked by a team of professionals in white uniforms, armed with a net and a coat that's all sleeves, just waiting to take you to your "NEW" home..... :ack2:

Oh man Now you mention it!!!
I could have been posting "One flew over the cuckoos nest" Images and videos for the last week!

Imagine if only Jack Nicholson had a mustache the resemblance is just uncanny!

Showed this to my night nurse....she said she had just recently seen 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest' for the first time. She pointed at me and said: "Who's that?":roflol:

So what is it with these island people? One comes in and tries to take my dissolved oxygen reading. She can't do it...so she starts shoving my fingers in harder and harder and squeezing hard on the jaws. Then I noticed she's got my finger cocked in sideways?????

Then she is looking at my tray from dinner. Can I throw this away? No...I might eat some more . So do you want me to trow it away or not. LEAVE IT!!!

So she starts pushing her machine towards the door. Stops at the sink , grabs the two rolled up towels and a washrag and is headed for the door....

I say: maam...those are clean....(no response) ....MAAM! THOSE ARE CLEAN!!!

"I can bring you some more." WTF?

My nurse comes in and I tell her about it. So she getting ready to leave....she says :"So...so you want me to throw this away for you?":roflol:

I tell her she better get out before I throw it on her!

So now the Jamaican is back with a new machine. I say: "You didn't bring no towels! ". "You need them right away? " "You never know "

She takes my reading with her stupid twisted finger method...97%. Hmmmm....Been tested 100 times including 3 days continuous. Never read lower than 98-100%.

Anyway...been over 15 minutes...time to call the desk and the team leader and 911...I need some towels! !!!! STAT !!!

Makes you wonder how some people are "qualified" to work in a hospital...

Well, after almost three weeks without any internet access (apart from a visit to the local shopping mall with free wifi), I'm back on the air... that was tough but, obviously, not as tough as you've had it, Doug; hope you get well soon...

Well just sitting here and noticed my belly was a bit tender...Sheesh, I've totaled cars and came out with fewer bruises than that hospital stay.

Last shot...I have no idea what went wrong...but I don't miss those blood thinner shots in the belly...they burn. Funny, that one didn't hurt much????

Well after spending this whole year much sicker than I realized...I knew I didn't feel good, couldn't breath well, and having about 1/10 of my normal energy level....it still didn't dawn on me I was SERIOUSLY ill.

Anyway...after letting everything go to HE double L around here and now feeling about 500% better and having a lot of energy...(even though after so much sedentary tme still makes full on getting after it a little bit of work) ....after one day out of the hospital....I feel extremely guilty I'm being lazy this morning.

There's something about thunderstorms that just trigger my lazy bone....

Back when I was starting my Cancer treatment they put a port in my chest. I wasn't supposed to work...but I had employees..so I went to work the next day.

Now...a port is a little stainless steel snuff box with a rubber bulb on the front to put a fishook IV needle in for Chemo drugs so they don't destroy your veins...it has a lead that goes straight to the heart to pump the fluids and Saline straight into the heart.

So...since I had to be there anyway...I decided to do some hand sanding on a handrail I made. After awhile my chest started hurting....but I ignored it. When my left arm started hurting, I decided the sanding could wait!!!!!!!!

Yea i've spent so much time in the hospital in the past five years it makes me tired just thinking about it. About 4 yrs ago had knee surg. Every thing went ok(so they said) a week later got a call that the mass they took was malignent tumor. Still taking shots. But they said its under control. I'm fixing to retire next week and start spending a lot more time with my grandson. Will have a lot more questions. Please be patient. Chancer said that is hard for you to do lol!

So you're saying you were getting sawdust in your heart? That's probably on the "not recommended" list.

IDK...They said they reviewed my chest Xrays and bumped up my antibiotic round from 5 days to 4 weeks.

I really planned on getting a bunch done yesterday but after spending 4 hours getting a new phone..I was worn out.
