So don't be surprised when you see a Ford WATERPUMP with a wastegate![/QUOTE]

Actually rotary vane superchargers have been around since the early 1950's at least. They were very popular especially in Europe with all their small cars they have there. There are also historical facts backing up everything I have advised him on. So before you go popping off at the mouth maybe you should do some reading and studying on your own.

I know what might happen: Crash, burn, everyone wins.

i think thats the best idea you've given me. unfortunately i'm still gonna have to take your belt and beat you with it.If anyone has a better idea for a pump let me know. i'd be willing to try it .

Have you read up on the 390 carb? It has some issues on acceleration from idle. I'm working on the cure now! lol
Congrats on the Welder!
What will you rebuild first?
i did read that. but it's okay i have idle problems with my stock carb anyway. But i did also read the smaller carb maintains a good velocity and will be good for a considerable amount of horsepower.
Have you tried high number jet yet ?

" I'm busy, go ask Siri." and let me know the resultsCongrats on the Welder!
