Well....I used this can crusher to death....I put it back together 3 times and even tried to do a tack weld to keep that rivet from popping out....

Finally went to HF to get a replacement. I could have gotten the same one for $6, but decided to upgrade to this one for $10....

Now, I could get one online for $50 that would also crush those 25 oz. cans, but then I'd definitely never get around to finishing the Poboy can crusher...

If you knew what the Poboy Crusher was, you'd know that's not far off...I built a prototype, (electric motor) , and even with a custom made pulley and a jackshaft, it was so fast, that it's gonna require a power feed and ejection system....as gravity is too slow....

I was working on an upgraded one...when life got in the way...

Well...I finally decided to let Felix go....

Soooo...here in a little bit...I'll be taking him out and giving him back his freedom. He was a lot of fun while I had him....(even though he liked to bite occasionally, )...but for a wild Texas rat snake ....he was really docile...

I just hope some idiot doesn't kill him thinking he's a copperhead....

It's done...Felix was perfectly sweet as we visited a bit before I let him go...I gave him a last chin rub...and took him out back and released him.

I know ....I'll never find another Texas rat snake like. him...but then again, do I really need to???? But it was so cool having a full grown wild Texas rat snake that was so docile ....(I'll actually miss him, and got a little bit attached ...)

Nothing like Oscar....(who's my baby..but still...a pretty sweet snake, and probably not going to be replaced ever! )

But...I have Oscar, and I have a beautiful baby....so...even if Oscar dies before me (she's about 15 years old now)... this little, baby can carry on!

I think everyone ought to have fish and a snake...I can't explain it, and it wouldn't matter if I could....you either get it or you don't...

Bless your heart. You did the right thing. Our cats bring in these little ring necked snakes, they are just adorable. Never seen one more than about 10 inches long though. There is a mother of all these snakes out there somewhere. Maybe she eats cats.

My garden is a mess this year....it's never looked this bad!!!

That pneumonia took a toll on me this year....spending a month and a half in bed SUCKS! ('Especially alone! )

And yeah...these are WEEDS!

That's total BS! When a true Southerner of any age and breeding says it....it is an expression of sympathy!!!!

To attach any other meaning shows a lack of class, a lack of knowledge of tradition, and a general degradation of Southern traditions that folks that DON'T UNDERSTAND shouldn't use!!!

You're lucky you're far enough away I can't kick your azz right now!!!

My garden is a mess this year....it's never looked this bad!!!

That pneumonia took a toll on me this year....spending a month and a half in bed SUCKS! ('Especially alone! )

And yeah...these are WEEDS!

So....I spent some time pulling weeds, but I also decided to get up on the roof, fix the turbine, and do a little shingling so I won't have to deal with water coming in with the thunderstorms coming in the next few days....

I really wish I had a few more rain free days to work on my garden and vehicles...but what the hey...the inside of my house is a mess too....soooo...

Well...just got back from the neighborhood store....

These guys are foreigners, if I had to guess: Pakistanis. But they're my semi-buddies, and just like here...we're always messing with each other....(mainly me and the main guy that runs the register most of the time)....the owner and I don't joke around nearly as much.

But anyway, the owner has always told EVERY employee to "take care of me".... and always calls me by name...and has given me work at another store.

But....I NEVER KNEW HIS NAME! I had heard it....seen it spelled on my cell...but still didn't know what the hey it really was!!!!

So tonight I asked him "Lawsi" ....He spelled it "Lasi"...OK.... so I said: " Yeah! Got it! ..."Lousy"....it fits you! Then, as I was leaving he said :"Have a good evening." I said : "What's that Lassie? Timmy's in trouble? "

Y'all guys are so lucky you only have to deal with me on the internet!
