Hey guys, I'm back... It's been a while, I've been busy with work and other things but I've been still tinkering with the cart. I have finally got the thing ready for paint and the engine is running. I've attached a link of the first firing of the engine which runs great. I am taking it to a buddy of mine on Sunday to get it sand blasted and painted. I've also taken it for a test drive and it runs pretty good although it's not as fast as it could be since I've really geared it down.

Sorry for the late reply... Been kind of busy with work and family.

It's a 16 hp 2 cyl Briggs 656cc. It's now painted and the final assembly is almost complete. I should be done by the end of this week and I will post another video and more pics.

I think it's the twin 8hp mufflers. In person it has a "Harley Sound" to it. At least that's what my neighbor thinks.

Nice looking buggy, what make is it? It would be one easy job to put suspension on it.

It's pretty much homemade. It's a cross between a 70's model Popular Mechanics 3 wheeler and a late 80's 2 seater Murray kart.

Very nice, would you be able to post a close up picture of the pedals?

Here you go. This was back when I had them mocked up but you get the idea. They are adjustable.

I'm having a little problem with the steering. Do you guys think that a larger steering wheel would help it turn easier? I was also thinking of changing the whole set up over to a bearing system.

If I ever get my main project finished (my house) I have a 20 something Koler sitting in my mother-in-laws garage. It’s been sitting there for like 10 years b/c it needed more work then the two 13hp I had off the neighbor’s pressure washers. Get us a video, I can’t wait to see it ripping up the lawn, lol.

Here is the before and after (more like during since it isn’t finished) of the house project. It will be finished one of these days, lol.

Seeing how the driver is only 6 I went with the large sproket to keep it slow for now but I have 2 more being made for when he gets a little older.

Nice House!

I'll try and get the latest video up tonight if my wife lets me. She was the test pilot :biggrin5:

Thats good, Saftey first, But with that gearing, it might be able to pull wheelies lol, well probably not but Maybe you should put a throttle limiter too.
