With that being said, someone once told me about using a spray bottle with water and spraying into the intake when running.
A few good sprays would help to blast off the carbon deposits...

Ice cold water into a hot engine to remove carbon from combustion chambers has been around since the dawn of time. If you mix a little Bon-Ami scouring powder with the water and dump it down the carb it will help seat new chrome piston rings.
Ok guys here's some old timey stuff for ya. Before they were J. C. Whitney they were Warshawsky and Co. on State Street in Chicago I used to go there all the time. Now I have to drive half way across Illinois to go to J. C. Whitney.Ice cold water into a hot engine to remove carbon from combustion chambers has been around since the dawn of time. Yup, and you had to pump the throttle to set the choke and squirt a little extra fuel in the engine from the accelerator pump to get them to start when they were cold.Ah yes old school, like when cars actually had carbs.
It took me awhile to stop doing that to fuel injected units
I have nothing more to add to this threadAh yes..... the double pump start.....gotta do that on the 5th...
So are we still talking seafoam, seawater, snake oil(snake water?)....
