What exactly would it take to put a snowmobile engine on a go kart, I already know a lot about it but I want to know how much more will it take

A snowmobile engine would need a LOT better chassis than that. I wouldn't even want to put a snowmobile engine on anyone of my racing karts. That is insane dude!! I think you should stick with the kart and engine you already have and modify it some more, you know with a live axle, good brakes etc.:thumbsup: You have a pretty wicked kart right now really. IMO:cheers2:

It is put people are saying its really dangerous which I know but it's only dangerous if you're careless about the power and just floor the gas petal, it just like a car all that power but you don't have to use it

BS!
A snowmobile engine will transform that yard kart into a pretzel.
not floor it? Seriously??? That is your safety precaution?

Uhm... there are racekarts made to handle that kind of power;

just search around for a 250cc shifter frame look at the pics, the axle, the BRAKES..
That is what you would need or a big a$$ buggy frame;
a yard kart... anything more than 12-15hp is just insane.

A snowmobile engine is your ticket for this years Darwin Award.

Very true. That is the point which I was really trying to get across. Good idea with the shifter frame. They are the ticket for that idea.:wai:

Yep, I've seen a guy with a 300HP jetpack on his back on inline skates racing an aston martin...

.. that still doesn't make it a good idea.. or anywhere near a wise decision!

You might not make it to the wall off the start. The torque might have the axle slap the helmet off your head into said wall... You personally might also live from the experience.

Ok , so if you know what you have to do, the costs involved(I'm assuming you have an unlimited budget).. And can use a skidoo engine for a power plant....
Kinda begs the question....

..... So what was the question again??
