Ok im building a Honda odyssey fl250 with a custom front end with custom suspension, 07 skidoo mxz440x racing motor, fully rebuilt and strengthened transmission and frame, custom roll cage, and I need fenders the tires are spaced 2.5" wider cause I had to get spacers because the snowmobile engine was wide. I was thinking maybe bending sheet metal but anybody know any aftermarket options??

I just went to a farm supply place and bought trailer fenders. Cut them down to length and make some mounts out of round or square stock. One 14 inch trailer fender will make 2 buggy fenders.

Were are you? If your not to far from me I have some quad fenders that could be modified to work. You can have them if you pay shipping. Depending where you are might be too costly.

Add some good pics from different angles of the rear and the tank. We love pics here . That is a sweet set up . What size tires are those?

:welcome2: to the forum. You have one sweet buggy going there. Well done. I love the blue paint job. Did you get it as a wrecked FL250? Have you got any BEFORE pics?

Have a look at these threads for some ideas

Fenders? To heck with fenders!

That's what your helmet and goggles is fer!

Aaaah, Toystory, how quickly you forget. :D:D This was posted by you a while ago.

Gotcha. Yeah, I've got a similar problem- I'd like to put front fenders on my kart. The 2 different sets I have are both trailer fenders so I'd have to try and re-radius them, too. When I'm buzzing around in the gravel, and more so in the rain, the front tires shower me in crap...

I got it as a basket case. Built it from the ground up. Got tons of pics. Will transfer from phone. I took a picture after basically every screw I put in. The last thing I built nobody believed me and thought I bought it so this time ill have a nice diary!

Put some original FL250 fenders on it? You already painted so that might be a problem now.

Or get a 55g plastic barrel and make your own. Use the bottom of the barrel for the flat side. The bottom of the barrel is rounded so use the bottoms of the barrel and not the top with the ridge. Buy an old busted up FL250 fender for pattern.

I seen T-Man makes some cool fenders out of new snow shovels.

i bought a 4x8 sheet of the white plastic panel material from Home Depot (smooth on one side, textured on the other), cut rectangles out of it (rounded the corners, using a large washer for a curved template), made some curved mounts out of some steel bars (slightly bigger than 1/4" for strength) and welded them on. trick is in painting them. did the bottoms black first, then mounted them on the curved metal mounts so the paint would dry curved (didn't want any cracking). once that was dry THEN i welded them onto the buggy.
