Gotcha. Yeah, I've got a similar problem- I'd like to put front fenders on my kart. The 2 different sets I have are both trailer fenders so I'd have to try and re-radius them, too. When I'm buzzing around in the gravel, and more so in the rain, the front tires shower me in crap...

idea!!!!!!!!!!!

what if i got some..... say pre-bent EMT and cut it into 4 sections length wise, then just welded them to either side of a curved piece of sheet metal! does that make sense?

Is there a metal shop around you anywhere? A sheet metal roller would make some nice fenders. Even fold a hem, notch it in a few places, and bend on the notches. I could do this is minutes with simple sheet metal tools. You could use some nice metal (diamond plate for example) and have them rolled or bent by a shop.

That could work. Just remember to take it slow and stagger your welds so it doesn't distort. Could be a good DIY way of getting curves...

of what, my pants after a ride?:)roflol:) or the fenders? well you wont get either of them! for the fenders i will need to first order and receive the tires i want, then i will have to go to home depot and buy some metal. i can get a sketch-up if you want, but thats about it for the moment.

Naw. I'll wait for the real deal to come along. I figured you'd wait for your tires.
Y'know- I think I like your idea. Maybe that's how I will handle my own fender problem...

If your fine with having square edges, you can make the bend in the fender, then lay it on one side and trace the bend onto another piece of metal. Cut the shape out, then weld em together(X2)
