Found some round tube today the a 5/8 bolt fits into tight but still turns. Should I drill and tape it for a grease nipple?

I would. Saves you from disassembly every time you want to grease it, and you'll be willing to do it more often. If you want to get really fancy, you could hacksaw or file a slot the length of the tube, intersecting with the fitting hole. This would force the grease along the length of the tube when you grease it.

You mean on the inside of the tube right?

Here is the start to the front spindles.

I need to puck up longer bolts, and finish them up.

A safe caster range is 10-15* negative.

Zero camber is acceptable under most circumstances, just be sure to kave an appropriate KPI angle. That's typically around 10*, but is truly found as such-

You should be able to draw and imaginary line through the kingpin to the road. This line should meet the road dead centre of the tire's contact patch.

Your Ackermann angle is dependant on track width an wheelbase, which I can explain further if needed.

EDIT- I just took a peek at the book (if you're still referencing it) and found a fairly critical error on page 49 regarding camber. The buggy in question is built with zero camber, and following the patterns will result in zero camber but the text suggests otherwise.

Got a steering wheel today.

Fuel & Brake Pedals

I was wondering about using or adding something like this on the front spindles, but how long does it have to be? 4"?

Careful with that steering wheel, I think that's the type that nearly caused Bluthunder to meet his maker!!! LOL

Oldbikerarlo, I've sent you a PM re: your Ackermann questions.

Yeah- I saw that price in the flyer I got and was mad that I already had one!!!

Anyways- go ahead and get it. It's a Honda GX200 clone like all the others, and one of the better ones from what I can ascertain. The one I got even had all the hardware to hook up a throttle, nothing else required but a cable...
