So what have you been up to? How’s the mini bikes doing?

Mini bikes are good, rode a bunch until the hurricane. Plan to swap my carb back to stock, starting while cold just isn't all there. Once I swapped out the tires,I ride hers more than mine.

Put maybe 50 road miles on it....rode everywhere. Haven't got pulled over yet, but I keep it on unmarked 35mph roads. SD doesn't care but I bet THP will get me one day

Work has been crazy, we canned over a thousand jars of food this year.

need to get a warmer day to run power back to building so I can make some more brackets

Been awhile, moving etc over last few years has really scattered parts across 2 storage units, 3 out buildings and a house ,it is like an adult scavenger hunt

Started to mock up steering, oh I found the missing rear hub!

Need fix wiring to building so I can cut cut more panels

Plan to drop pan 3 inches at my butt, so it sits like the old tank did, very comfy and doesn't wear out muscles.

All 4 wheels so now I have to unlace and turn all 4 wheels around before I powder coat them Hopefully this year lol

Well yeah BUT if I crash I want to look good stationary

Nobody’s going to be looking at your wheels when you crash. They’ll be to busy scraping you out of the cockpit without messing up the interior and paint.

Found some time to start the mockup of cowl and steering



Setting cowl height, had to blend in with bulbous hump to clear engine

Roughing in some body to draw on, and need to make clearance for feet, legs ,pedals and steering.

1st PC was way too tall


Put a straight edge on back and cut off the excess



My idea is to mock in cardboard so after I have all known clearance issues, I can actually draw to edges of panels and then cut it apart for template



Looking forward with a retro, late 60's vibe picture it shows relationships of the hoops or pillars

After almost 5 months I got the shed re-wired and can start on the Vale again.

Drawn in cad. Programmed and loaded.





Very low dross on parts to clean up.

I will miss the penny.....so all I got to do is spray the blanks with a zep root killer base and whalla......copper plated pcs of steel, worth less than the .02 it costs now....savings baby....savings.

I could save the country muugillionzzes with at home local production.

Steering in front wouldnt, work no clearance

Flipped it to rear.
