got a new/used triple tree off ebay. then i realized my swingarm bearings were shot so got that. i need to use a press to get the old swingarm/ linkage bearing out, and i dont feel like going through all the crap bringing it to school.

next i want to get the frame sandblasted, waiting on my friend to ask his uncles friends cousins brothers dads friend or whoever if he can do it. lol

i ran it a couple days ago just to make sure it was still good

alright well havent heard from my friend about the sandblasting so i think im just going to sand it as best as i can then rattle can it. the bike will get dirty, and i havent gone so far as to restore it anyways. it'll look better than it is now and thats fine.

finally got to sandblasting and it came out decent. not perfect, but its not a show bike, im going to scratch it up and get it dirty anyways.

thanks! more progress, im working on getting the front forks on now. i started it up again, this time with the radiators connected, still running great!

its riding time!!

after the first time riding it i lost first gear. it makes terrible sounds and skips in and out. looked it up and i believe i have a bent shift fork. i have put a few hours on it without using first gear and everything else works totally normal. eventually i am going to tear it back down but i really dont feel like it right now.

Sucks about that first gear, but you got to ride it! however, in the future could you haver camera person turn their phone sideways before hitting record? Its amazing how many people don't realize that they can record a nice widescreen video, rather than this super annoying tall and narrow video poop that is so hard to watch. Lol.

they should not make it even be able to record narrow screen, its just worse lol

tomorrow i need to get front fork seals bad, it leaks so much and it has no rebound as soon as i hit a rock or bump they fling right out
