The crank is $127 new. Motor's were made in the 80's, it barely exists. Zenoah G2D 22.5cc.

22.5cc? is this for a goped? 127 bucks? You can buy a NEW goped engine for that price. Same price as the crank you found, but you get a whole engine.

It moves a person. Spindle drive.

I know it's almost as new engine, but I like these engines. Reliable.

I'll post up pics, it doesn't look good but feels solid, no play on the bearings.

#1 Before electrolysis, bearings on crank seized to that position.

#2 After electrolysis, bearings loosened up.

#3 I know, I'm not going to use that piston.

Most likely that crank bearing will not be salvageable but scotch bright works wonders on the rest of it. Going to have to flush that big end bearing REALLY good.

he did see how small the pistons are, theres a picture right there. Also, i bought a brand new goped engine awhile ago. I used it for about a month and then the crankshaft broke right in the dead center. It didnt explod and go everywhere, it just stopped working and made some great sounds while doing it. I would just replace the piston and go for it. My point is that they can break new or old. ALso, do you use a 3rd bearing? the one on the spindle? If you dont, then get one. It will prevent the crank from breaking

Crankshaft doesn't break unless something actually forcefully breaks it. Sounds like either you weight a couple thousand pounds , or you didn't adjust your EPW correctly

I run all my motors with 3rd bearings, I don't want my mounts to bend/flex.
