Would I be foolish?

I have the HF 6.5 hp in brand new stock form. I also have some brand new hop up parts. I plan to remove the governor, install a ARC billet flywheel, Arc header, UNI filter w/adapter, and GX140 emulsion tube w/a drilled .36 jet.
Would I be foolish not to order and install the ARC rod? We are not going to race this cart. I have not heard about a lot of people throwing rods with these motors.

Get the billet rod. They changed there prices, It used to be $59 for a rod without bearings and now its also there "New low prices" for the rod WITH bearings for $59. Isnt that just dandy how just after we order our rod for $80 they lower there price.

they are not bad about throwing rods really but putting a new one in definantly wont hurt i cant take credit for this advice but dont put all those upgrades on just yet use the motor by its self and learn your motor before you start throwing all those extras plus you can put them on one at a time and see how much they increase your performance

If you're getting the billet wheel, might as well get the rod and some springs. Cam when you have the $$$.
