Would a 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 be to much for a small buggy?

Dude, not that I know much, but 165 horse is waaaaaaaay more than neccesary. That's like only 105 horsepower less than my mom's Pathfinder. Plus I really doubt that it would make that much, even for a 1000, I have a 250 dirtbike, and they only make, like 45.

165 is a little high, but not too far off. I know the ninja zx10 broke 160hp a couple years ago and i think that was the first one to do that. as for the skate rin the clutch thing I have no idea.

keep in mind i might put a 4WD convertor on it as well. its going to be used mainly for offroad swamping and mud boging lol. but it will be used for street as well. i do have about five miles of road to drive on to get to the muddy places :]

I can try, just dont kill me if I'm wrong. 4WD will make it a tad more difficult to pull a wheelie, because of them getting half of the power they would normally recieve. But really, there are so many variables, ie; weight distribution, grade, terrain, tires...

You would only wheelie if you put all the weight at the back. Wheelies aren't a good thing, they slow you down.

The Edge Piranha buggies use 750cc - 1400cc bike engines up to 400hp, so around that size buggy is what you want for that size engine.
Also, bike engines are just about the worst engines for mud bogging. They need to rev heaps.

"rev heaps"-makes power at a really high rpm
but that can be changed with a different cam
you can never have too much power
