wont start

I have a x2 pocket bike with a 49cc two-stroke and the thing wont start!
I think it's the carb so I took it off cleaned it up and rebuilt it, and its getting a new spark plug and fresh gas...

other then that its getting the wiring redone but anything else i should check?

is it getting a spark? get some carb-cleaner and take off the air filter and spray the carb cleaner right in there, then try to start it, if it starts momentarily, its your carb.

tried it and no it didnt start period thats why the sparkplug is getting replace

wow, i have almost that exact same motor. i get all my parts from scooterparts4less.com. mine didn't start and i had bad compression, but check if its firing by pouring a little gas into the intake port, then crank.

maybe it would still work on a 2-stroke but i don't know, lol

Chinese motor? Get rid of it and replace with a 110 lifan You won't regret it

Yeah they cost around 70$ shipped that chineese motor.

i know how crappy that stock motor is. i did absolutely everything for it and eventually i got off my lazy azz to rip it apart and rebuild it. i re used the piston and everything just polished it.
