This will probably sound really dumb, but somtimes people put 50 gallon drums on the exhaust of there truck to sound louder. What if i put a paint can (like the metal cans of paint for a house) would it sound cooler or different?View attachment 144140
I used an old oil can it rusted after the first run. it didn’t give me anywhere close to the sound of a big tube exhaust with an rlv muffler on it.A250B4CF-FE44-44C2-828C-12E204F8D9D2.jpeg

Only big pipes sound like big pipes, fartcans are just annoying garbage... and when they are attached to small tube exhaust they sound even worse.

You're building for drag, so 14-18 of 1" ID header is all you need. It will be loud as hell and probably bark some flames, but it won't sound as much like what it is

Part of what gives my 208 set up such a bigger and unique sound is the fact it's multi stepped (1", 1⅛",2", custom tunable silencer with a 1⅛"core pipe and a 2¼ shell) and a bit longer than most. It doesn't sound much like a kart/lawn variety engine between that and all the other work in it.

I backed out the screw by the throttle so it’s revs higher. I remember someone explained how to do it but I don’t know who.

I bought two motors on Black Friday sale and just sold one to my friend for $130+I get a quart of oil. When I backed out the screw one of my friends said what are you doing and I explained to him then he said you should go do it to the other one but I said no I should put the screw in farther and he will never know. 😂 I’m so mean. He will be way slower than me

I plan on using a 10t clutch and 48t sprocket. Would this be any faster? It comes with a 10t driven gear so I would use my 48t sprocket. Also does anyone know what speed I would get with a stock predator 212 and this gearing? View attachment 143661
Hey buddy this is off topic, but would you happen to know what this part is called?

Here's a thread about the same problem:

That looks like the cover that goes over the lovejoy connection on log splitters? Under that cover is a centrifugal clutch? Not 100% sure.
Sorry about that probably was a little bit confusing. Are you talking about the gray pipe in between the engine and the cover?

That piece that bolts onto the engine may be a cover, or maybe not a centrifugal clutch, and possibly a love joy coupling, or any other kind
