I'm so mad because today I just found my "missing" dashboard in the trunk of one of the schools cars. I really want to know who did that since me and 3 others and the teacher spend 2 days looking for it and it looks really bad without it 😔

but I guess that’s what I get for building it at a high school where most the students don’t give af about others people stuff

You're right, I didn't. I grew up too poor to play with fast gas toys so your point escapes me.

Wrong. It's dumb when it could have been prevented.

I have ZERO sympathy or pity for those who die or are severely disfigured from showboating, or wipe out inadequate riding gear... good riddance.

I’m not making decisions for or about other people. It’s my choice to wear a helmet and I decided not to. I know it’s dangerous but in my opinion it’s only dumb to not wear one if you get hurt. I know safety’s important so that’s why I only make decisions for myself not others. It’s their fault if they get hurt and same for me, if I get hurt it’s my fault because I should have worn a helmet.

You getting hurt doesn't just hurt you, it hurts your family and your friends. Not physically, but hurts them still. I'm not trying to dog on you, I just don't want you to end up with a wasted life.

So how did the car show go? Did you win a trophy or an honorable mention? Did you at least attract attention or get any compliments. I rode a motorcycle on the street in the 60's ( A lot ) with no helmet. I was a dumb careless teenager just like you are right now. The most important thing is that that every time you get on or into something other than an ordinary car, you put the helmet on and remember how bad that hood hurt when it came up and smacked you in the face. That's why they call it the school of hard knocks.

The show is this Friday! We just dropped it off on Wednesday. Lots of my friends and family are coming through the weekend. Hopefully I have more interest than just them. But when we dropped it off lots of the people there where checking it out and seemed to like it so I guess that’s good.

Also the person who was next to me seemed to own all 3 surrounding me so at least mine is in a safe spot not that anyone should mess with it too much. But he also has a racing kart that looks super expensive so he might get a better chance at an award than me

Day 1 of the car show was great. Had more people interested than I thought. Somone offered $150 I laughed and said no. I also was able to get a picture of it on a shirt and a picture. It was more than I wanted to spend but I think this whole experience is worth it since it's a cool story to tell for the next 60+ years if I live that long šŸ˜‰

I was very angry though because when I showed up (2 hours after it opened) I found my power wheels inches from another large table that was on my section. I was pretty disappointed since I was told I had a corner spot and no one else would be covering it and when I showed up you couldn't even see my car. I wish I took a picture.

LMMFAO OK kid, what ever helps you feel better

I'm gonna go with you'll be lucky to see 21 at the rate you observe safety precautions
ā€œI'm gonna go with you'll be lucky to see 21 at the rate you observe safety precautionsā€ that’s it, 21 years old?šŸ˜‚

ā€œLMMFAO OK kid, what ever helps you feel betterā€ I mean I think it would be cool since I obviously can’t drive yet so I don’t have a real car and this is something I very proud of. Also it’s a very popular car show and people come from all over the world with really nice cars so for me to enter in this show is actually pretty cool.

Dam kids always worried about safety! Back in the old days we didn't have all that safety s**t! There were no seat belts, air bags or any of that government mandated stuff. We drank water from a hose, rode dirt bikes bare foot, without helmets. Had no sunscreen, bla, bla bla. We survived somehow. We have the scars, missing parts, broken bones, missing teeth and other maladies. Its the brain cells l miss the most.
Buck up youngns, life ain't even began to s**t on ya yet!

Congratulations! It was a great show for your first try! At your age l was still nailing roller skstes to 2x4's. You'll go far.

I agree with you but i also dont. Not all kids are worried about safety so much. It's more like younger parents under like 35 40 and younger who care about safety (I mean no disrespect about anyone's age no matter if they are older or younger). Ussualy If people's parents are older than that they don't mind as much. Some kids, kinda like me just don't care that much about "safety". I'm sure one day i will Learn my lesson but by then it may be too late so for now I'm just gonna send it 🫔
