I would rather run a big knobby(although a paddle would be cool for a snow only bike), less investment for a year round vehicle, that way I just gotta change from front tire to ski.

I was maybe thinking that the knobby might get bound up wuth snow unless you ran less air pressure in it so it would flex like a ballon and keep it from getting snow bound.. Knobby would be cool also. Running any kind of low air pressure, I would recommend a tube be used. Especialy in the cold. Beads can't keep good air seals at 5 psi. I actually double my rate for sand and dirt. I am sure tires are tested for around 30 psi(over) over the recommended psi rating, for saftey standards :D. Yes, my 26 X 12 X 9" say 30 psi for bead sealing when installing tire, but run no more than 5 psi normaly. So I figured, 10 psi won't hurt a bit, concernng the nylon inside the tire. :cheers2: If you get any paddles for snow, get straight ones. angles might have you sideways alot :D

It wont, cent force will throw it off. I have ran my dirt bike with a 4" wide knobby in snow, it gets rather loose and scary over 15mph but it doesn't show signs of losing it in a turn if you let off the haul *** handle.
