Why it's Acid to Water and not the otherway around...

Cause this happens:

Recipe:

1x cup of 98% pure concentrated sulfuric acid
1x large plastic bucket
1x water hose
1x a brain that doesn't believe science.

All I thought I was doing was "diluting" the acid to wash that yellowed acid out... Instead I got a mouthful of baking soda and sulfuric acid, and that!

You want to DRIP the water in there.

No, you're supposed to have the water in there already and THEN you drip the acid into it. The other way around causes the reaction to go berserk.

It's a hecka better than baking soda and vinegur

I was also pouring this acid straight into the empty cells of a newly hose-washed battery - and it started burning (smoking a bit), and got REALLY hot n' smelly.
