Whered all the clones go?

Ebay doesnt seem to have as many as they did a week or more ago. They used to me the first thing that cam up when you searched go kart engine or mini bike engine. Why arent they so readily available like before. There also used to be one on ebay that came with a clutch and chain for 170 plus shipping. WHERED THEY GO?

can anyone shoot me in the direction of the cheapest 6.5 motor? thanks

Yea i know abut harbor freight but i guess i just mean ebay. They used to be EVERYWHERE seems like less of them on the market, or just less distributers. Now its H.F and N.T

Isn't the new clone the same motor with a different tank and air cleaner?

Long time ago I heard it was a different valve cover bolt design, different muffle and air cleaner, slightly larger bore and slightly different stroke.

Enough so that you couldn't modify it with existing GX160/GX200 parts.

So does that mean the engines out there now dont accept honda parts? i dont get it. I thought they were all interchangeable

Those new 206cc. Power Horse clones would be an exception here. They gotta have some uniqe componets (piston. crank or rod) to get that extra 10cc's over the rest of the 196cc clone brands.
