where can i get cheap brakes in the uk

It's just the truth. I spent $110 of my own money on my kart brake's for a reason. And man, Do you ever get what you pay for. Lock up both tires on pavement at 45-50 MPH.

I got 'em on my yard kart. Gets the job done.

Almost identical to what is pictured in your link. Came with kart.
No problem in locking up wheels.

thanks, i dont think i can use them because the only clutch i can find to fit my 20mm shaft is #219 chain

The drum you have picture is ment for a live axle setup. The picture Russ posted is for single wheel drive. If you go with a drum without a hub then you'd need to buy a hub.

not sure if it would suit your cart but you can pick up a motorcycle brake caliper master cilender and disk real cheep and more stopping power than you will ever need i am also in the uk btw
