Come on man, Geek Squad? You have more dignity than that! :arf:

More than half of my friends (early 40's) are out of work, either desperate or close to it.

In today's economy, a job is a job. I'd make fun of it when the economy is better ;-)

Now this is darn cool. Is it something you can market yourself or is it specialized?

I've tried contacting OTC and K-D tools to see if they would be interested in it, but with big companies like that it's nearly impossible to talk to someone that can help you with that sort of stuff. OTC had a similar tool but it was much more specialized than mine it would only work on 02-04 dodge dodge rams and they stopped production on it, I don't know if they stopped production because they weren't selling any or if their patent application got sent back because it conflicted with mine. It'd be nice if they were still producing it because then they'd have to pay me royalties. I might build a small metalworking shop and start producing it myself, maybe try selling it on ebay, but it would be nice to get it on some tool trucks because that's where the people that would want it buy their tools.

I was an Automotive Tech for a local Dealership for the last 10 years until they decided to hire a douchebag that ran his shop into the ground to come run our shop. He thought it would be a good idea to attempt to make us flat rate techs work for free. Fugg that. Me and him had words a few times and I got **** canned. I'm sorry, I don't work for free. Now I run the Commercial division of a local parts store. I've got my feelers out for another tech job but hey, I'm gaining management experience right now. Maybe even start my own shop. We shall see

Hey, I dug both yer tunes. (I sent a friend request) Just a hobby for me to, so far I've spent way more money on my studios gear than I'll probably ever recoup.
I wish I had more time to do it. Sometimes I just don't have the energy after work, dealing with kids, wife and such. You know. I ran into a customer of mine who teaches and wow! I had this revelation that maybe I should be doing something else. Music is definitely cool. I wish I could spend more time at it.

Yeah, I'd have a hard time working for a dealership, I see the booktimes they give for warranty work are jokes, unless the dealership gives the tech. a higher rate for warranty work, then it ain't so bad.

i work for a paintball company and we are actually starting to move to go kart sales.

You should design a go kart with a paintball gun turret on it. I play PB and me and my friends are trying to figure a good way to use my kart with paintball, so far i made a small trailer with a seat and handlebars to hold onto, but my centrifugal clutch just wont pull it fast or far. We tried to go up a driveway, the clutch go so hot that it wouldnt move the cart at all even if i was off it.

Get a better quality clutch is all i can say. I got the most expensive cent. comet at northern and i could pull a 600+ lb 1970's golf cart with flat tires down the road at full speed.

I have a comet clutch, not sure where i got it. Its a black one that looks like a max torq. I will be solving the ****ty clutch issue with a kz400 fairly soon (i hope).

8 hp briggs flatty. That model comet is the cheapo one, you need the silver racing clutch. It runs around 60-80 bucks. You can get different springs for it also. Good clutch.

I used to play as well both "friendly" and competitively. An awful lot of fun, and I still have my guns in the attic should I ever get bitten by the "shoot my friends" bug again.

Icon-Z, PMI-3, Automag, Autococker, Minimag, and my favorite, the "Termite" pump gun which was banned everywhere lol.

All tricked out of course.
