What size tubing to use?

What size tubing do you recommend for a off road cart, I will be using a 500+ motorcycle engine.


4130 ALLOY STEEL TUBING
MIL-T 6736 Normalized
Wall O.D.
.049 1, 1-1/4, 1-3/8
.058 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 1-3/8, 1-1/2
.065 1-1/8, 1-3/8, 1-1/2, 1-5/8

I would recommend the .065 1-1/2 if you want it to NOT brake. My off road kart with a GS-500 uses mostly 40mm x 40mm x 2mm square.

you are very correct im getting the plans for a the edge barracuda just gotta decide on what size tubing to use for it... it will be ran very hard! i already got a Aprilia RSV1000 to strap on it
